Hi, I’m Miranda and I work with adults who may not arrive with a clear story, but know something isn’t working the way it used to. People often come in with a question, a frustration, or a vague sense of being stuck. One of my favourite moments in this work is when the original concern fades into the background and something else gets named because it finally feels safe enough to say it. Many of the people I work with are women in early or mid-adulthood who appear to have it together but feel overwhelmed, burned out, or quietly dissatisfied beneath the surface.

I see this work as a privilege. Therapy is a place where you don’t have to perform or rush toward a solution. We slow things down enough to notice what’s happening underneath the surface and get curious about why certain beliefs, reactions, or patterns keep showing up. My style is collaborative and steady. I usually begin as a gentle guide, building trust and making it clear that you can tell me if I’ve missed something. Over time, once there’s safety, I will challenge you and ask more direct questions.

I enjoy helping people make sense of things- organizing thoughts that come out in a rush, reflecting patterns over time, and noticing what keeps repeating. Humour has a place in my work when it fits and can help reduce tension or soften shame. I work best with individuals who are open to exploration and reflection and who aren’t looking for a quick fix or advice-only approach. I don’t work with couples or families.

Areas of Focus and Interest:

  • Adult stress, Burnout, and Overwhelm
  • Toxic Workplace Stresses and Dynamics
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • ADHD and Emotional Regulation
  • Grief and Loss
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Caregiver burnout
  • Self-esteem and long-standing unhelpful patterns
  • Working with culturally diverse individuals

If you’re looking for a grounded, non-judgmental space to put some things down and understand yourself a little better, therapy with me may be a good fit.

Outside of therapy, I reset by spending time with my dog, getting outside, moving my body, laughing with friends, and enjoying a warm cup of coffee.

Hi, I’m Catherine.

I work with youth, teens, and adults navigating trauma, neurodiversity, substance use, and complex emotional patterns. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, but feel stuck in cycles they can’t quite make sense of. My style is relational, intuitive, and honest. I bring warmth and humour into the room, and I’m someone who believes compassionate honesty can be one of the most powerful parts of therapy.

If you’ve ever found yourself wondering, “Why do I keep reacting this way?” you’re not alone. I believe all behaviour is meaningful. What often gets labelled as a “problem” is usually an attempt to cope with pain, overwhelm, trauma, or experiences that once felt too big to handle alone. In our work together, we slow things down and get curious about those patterns so we can better understand what your mind and nervous system have been trying to protect you from, and begin building ways of responding that actually fit who you are.

At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy happens through real human connection. I aim to create a space where you feel understood and supported, while also being invited to look honestly at patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Some of the moments that mean the most in this work are the quiet ones, when you can see something shift as a new insight finally starts to make sense.

Areas of Focus and Interest

  • Neurodivergent individuals (ADHD, autism)
  • Individuals navigating substance use or recovery
  • Trauma and complex / childhood trauma
  • Autistic burnout and neurodivergent mental health
  • Substance use and recovery
  • Borderline personality disorder and emotional regulation
  • Boundaries, self-advocacy, and relationship dynamics

If you’re looking for therapy that values curiosity, honesty, and real human connection, this may be the right place to begin.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading about personal growth, spending time with my fiancée, the occasional nap, and the excitement of a day at the racetrack. I’m also someone who firmly believes we live to eat, not the other way around.

Hi, I’m Katey.

Maybe you’re not sure exactly what’s wrong, you just know that something isn’t working the way you want. Maybe you feel like you’re going through the motions, reacting in ways you don’t fully understand, or trying to figure out who you are underneath all the roles you play and hats you wear. Or maybe things are actually pretty okay, and you just want some support in making them better. You don’t need a big reason to start therapy. You just need to want something to be different.

My style is warm, curious, and genuinely collaborative, I don’t believe I have all the answers, and I’m not going to pretend I do. What I will do is ask good questions, pay close attention, and adjust my approach to fit you rather than the other way around. I have a pretty strong sense of pattern recognition, so I often pick up on themes early but I’ll always guide you toward your own discoveries rather than telling you what to think. I also bring humour into sessions when it feels right, because sometimes a laugh is exactly what makes the hard stuff a little more approachable.

Areas of Focus and Interest

  • Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
  • Depression and mood concerns
  • ADHD and neurodiversity (including autism)
  • Identity and self-understanding
  • Children and youth
  • Life transitions
  • Self-esteem and self-worth
  • Family and relationship concerns and dynamics

I think the best therapy happens when a client feels safe, heard, and genuinely like themselves in the therapy room. If you’re looking for a therapist who will be curious about your whole story and fully invested in helping you find your way, we maybe a great fit!

Outside of sessions, I recharge by spending time with family and friends, watching my daughter grow and discover the world, getting out into nature, and keeping my brain happy with puzzles, crosswords, and colouring.

I’m Lori. I work with people who have lived through trauma, long-term stress, addiction, or years of feeling misunderstood- by systems, by others, or by themselves. Healing, in my experience, doesn’t mean going back to who you were before. It means learning how to live fully with what you’ve been through; without shame, without judgment, and without doing it alone.

You may feel emotionally worn down, unsure who you are anymore, or afraid that change feels both necessary and overwhelming. You might be thoughtful and self-aware, yet exhausted from carrying so much on your own. Many of the people I work with are tired of having to explain themselves, minimize their experiences, or fit into expectations that don’t reflect who they are.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I work to create a space where you can show up as you are, be met without judgment, and feel supported in doing meaningful, honest work. I believe healing is not linear or predictable- trauma changes us, and we don’t simply “go back.” I bring both compassion and honesty into the room, validating your pain while also helping you notice the patterns that keep you stuck. I use humour intentionally to build connection, soften the inner critic, and make difficult work feel more human, while paying close attention to both what is said and what is felt in the body.

Areas of Focus and Interest

  • Trauma and complex trauma
  • ADHD and neurodivergence
  • Addictions and substance use
  • Borderline personality traits
  • Eating disorders and disordered eating
  • Mood and anxiety disorders
  • Domestic violence and relationship trauma
  • Dissociation, attachment wounds, and emotional regulation
  • Complex mental health presentations

If you’re ready to commit to the work of therapy, even if you’re unsure how change will happen, I offer a supportive space to begin.

Outside of therapy, I find grounding in nature, kayaking, yoga, sound baths, baking, board and card games, attending live theatre, and spending time with my family.

Hi, I’m Castin, and I’m the Client Care Coordinator here at Rhapsody Psychotherapy and Counselling. My role is to support both our clients and our associates in any way I can. I love helping our therapists with behind-the-scenes work so they can focus more of their energy on the time they spend with their clients.

When it comes to connecting with clients, I’m here to help make things easier. Whether you need assistance booking appointments, have questions about billing, or are trying to find the therapist who feels like the right fit, I’m happy to walk alongside you through the process. Starting therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make that first step as comfortable and supportive as possible.

Outside of work, you can usually find me at the gym, playing Minecraft, or spending time with my two handsome cats, Timmy and Koda.

If you’re not sure where to start on your healing journey, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to help you explore your options and connect you with a therapist who fits your needs in the way you deserve.

Hey there, I’m Henna.

Maybe you’ve survived something that changed everything and now you’re trying to figure out who you are on the other side. Maybe you’ve spent years holding it together, pushing through, telling yourself you’re fine. Or maybe you’re at a point in your life where the old ways of coping just aren’t working anymore and something needs to change. You don’t have to have the words for it yet. You just have to be willing to start.

I work with survivors of domestic violence, adults navigating big life transitions, and older adults who are ready to look at what they’ve been carrying. My style is calm, unhurried, and deeply grounded in respect for your experience. I won’t rush you toward answers or tell you what your healing should look like. Healing isn’t linear, the path isn’t always straight, and that’s okay.

Areas of Focus and Interest

  • Domestic violence and relationship trauma
  • Survivors rebuilding safety and identity
  • Life transitions and post-secondary adjustment
  • Older adults (60+) processing past experiences
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Self-esteem, self worth and empowerment
  • Grief and loss
  • Suicidal ideation and self-harm
  • Culturally diverse individuals and communities

Some of the most powerful moments in this work happen when a client who has spent years feeling trapped finally begins to feel like they have choices again. That shift, from surviving to reclaiming, is what I show up for every day. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Outside of sessions, I recharge by going on nature walks and hikes, spending time at the beach, and being with the people (and pets) I love. I also paint, do calligraphy, and make time for creativity whenever I can.

You’re self-aware, but something still isn’t changing. You’ve thought about your patterns, maybe even talked about them, but you keep finding yourself in the same place. Overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from the life you want. You can see what’s happening. You understand your reactions, your habits, and the ways you might be getting in your own way. But insight alone hasn’t led to meaningful change, and that can feel frustrating.

My style is direct, collaborative, and warm. I won’t just sit back and reflect things at you, I’ll ask honest questions, notice what keeps coming up, and challenge you when your actions maybe not be aligning with your goals or self. I work with you to build a space where you feel genuinely supported and able to show up as yourself. Sessions with me are both exploratory and action-oriented. We look at what’s underneath, and we build practical skills that hold up in your day-to-day life. I believe insight alone isn’t enough, real change comes from what you do with it.

Areas of Focus and Interest

  • Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
  • Depression and mood concerns
  • ADHD and executive functioning challenges
  • Life transitions and direction
  • Self-esteem and identity exploration
  • Romantic, family, and interpersonal relationship concerns
  • Codependency and boundary-setting
  • Coping skills and day-to-day functioning
  • Career questions and workplace stress

The most meaningful change comes from more than understanding yourself, it comes from taking action on what you learn. If you’re ready to move beyond the same patterns and start living more intentionally, I’d love to support you.

Outside of sessions, I recharge in nature — hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, or catching a sunset on a long walk. Movement, good company, and time outdoors are what bring me back to myself.
