I’m Helen, and my door is open to teens and adults at any stage of life who want to find clarity, understand what’s beneath the surface, and change what they want to change. Many who come to me are neurospicy, carrying trauma, or tired of being misunderstood. They struggle to focus or feel worn down by overwhelm, and they want to be understood, not fixed. I move between being a gentle guide and a strategic coach as the moment requires, and if a client truly wants it and it serves them, I can be a tough-love truth-teller. Honesty and loyalty matter to me, so I’ll show up as my open, unmasked, caring self.

My gut and my brain usually work as a team. When they start arguing, I take it as a sign to slow down and get curious about what’s going on and I’ll invite you to do the same with me. With over six years of experience, from the Gestalt Student Clinic to private practice, I’ve supported people through trauma, neurodivergence, addiction, relationship struggles, and being misunderstood. My training in trauma-informed practice and neurodivergent presentations sits alongside my own lived experience. I also see the gifts in neurodivergence and help clients unapologetically honour their needs, set their boundaries, and reclaim their power.

Therapy is a space to be heard, and humour has a place in it. A shared laugh can lighten a heavy moment, as long as it isn’t being used for masking. If you need to step in and out of therapy, that’s okay too. I’ll be your anchor for when you’re ready.

Area of Focus and Interest:

  • Neurodivergence (ADHD, ASD, highly sensitive person)
  • Executive functioning, distraction, and overwhelm and trauma
  • Sexual and physical abuse trauma
  • Addiction (porn, food, sex, shopping, functioning alcohol and substance use)
  • Sexual identity and orientation (LGBTQ2+, kink, polyamory)
  • Relationship issues, estrangement, and feeling misunderstood

If you’re ready to seek the answers to your questions about yourself, to be heard and understood, reach out and let’s talk about how I can support you.

Outside of therapy, I recharge by cooking and trying new recipes, spending time with friends and family, watercolouring, making bead jewellery, listening to music, and reading.
